Role Description
Project Coordinators will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Support the planning, coordination and delivery of ICT projects, including scheduling, task tracking, milestone management and monitoring progress to ensure project deliverables are achieved within agreed timeframes.
Support project governance by preparing and maintaining project artefacts, coordinating governance activities and providing accurate and timely reporting to support project oversight and informed decision-making.
Monitor and maintain project risk, issue, dependency and decision registers, facilitating the timely reporting, escalation and resolution of project risks and issues.
Liaise with business and technical stakeholders to support effective communication, issue resolution and the successful delivery of project outcomes.
Coordinate project meetings, workshops and stakeholder communications, including agenda preparation, minute taking and action tracking.
Maintain accurate and complete project records and artefacts in accordance with organisational standards, supporting governance, assurance, audit and continuous improvement requirements.
Perform additional duties as required and directed by the relevant Director, Team Leader or Delegate.

Essential criteria
Demonstrated experience supporting ICT project and/or program delivery, including project planning, scheduling, governance, reporting, and the management of risks, issues and dependencies.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including business representatives, technical teams, vendors and senior management.
Well-developed communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality project documentation, governance artefacts, reports and executive briefing materials.
Demonstrated problem-solving and organisational skills, including the ability to identify issues, manage competing priorities, and support the timely resolution of project challenges.
Experience working within Agile and/or hybrid project delivery environments, with an understanding of contemporary ICT project delivery practices.
Proficiency in the use of project management, collaboration and information management tools, including Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps and electronic records management systems.
Desirable criteria
Experience supporting ICT project or program delivery within a Federal Government environment.
Experience working within a SAFe Agile delivery environment.
Experience supporting governance forums, executive reporting and assurance processes.
Relevant project management or Agile certification (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, PRINCE2 Agile, PRINCE2 or equivalent).
