Role Description
The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Lead business analysis activities in a multi-disciplinary agile delivery team in pre-discovery, discovery, design and delivery
Design and facilitate workshops and interviews that include a variety of internal and external stakeholders across all levels
Manage stakeholder groups to develop a partnership with the business and foster a productive working environment
Translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories, suitable for use by development, testing, and DevOps teams
Analyse data flows, system interfaces, APIs, and technical documentation to inform solution design
Collaborate with solution architects, developers, testers, and project managers to ensure traceability of requirements through delivery
Create and maintain process models, wireframes, and system documentation, including data models and interface specifications
Communicate well, using professional judgement to evaluate risks in the context of a complex and changing environment
Foster a positive workplace culture
Support the product backlog and participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to prioritization, estimation, and refinement activities
Criteria
The buyer has specified that each candidate must provide a one page pitch to address all criteria specified. This is equal to 5000 characters.
Essential criteria
1. • Experience in business process modelling and optimisation using BPMN or equivalent frameworks. • Ability to map and analyse complex system integrations across cloud and legacy platforms. • Experience in aligning business analysis outputs with enterprise architecture and strategic objectives. • Extensive experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD, and IaC. • Strong familiarity with cloud platforms, with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure. • Experience collaborating with delivery teams using tools such as Azure DevOps for backlog management, release planning, and traceability.
2. • Demonstrated ability to translate business and user needs, using various methods and drawing out technical outcomes in line with business outcomes • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative, highly motivated team, to deliver in a project and program environment • Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including legal, policy, technical, and operational teams. • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships in cross-functional teams. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Demonstrated experience working with systems integration, APIs, and data modelling. • Demonstrated personal integrity whilst achieving results within legislative and policy parameters
3. • Proficiency in Git, YAML, ARM, Bicep and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. • Knowledge of government security ISM guidelines and IRAP standards. • Familiarity with the following technologies: Micro Focus Fortify, SailPoint, Service Now. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
4.
